Beyond the thrill of adventure itself, every WAT experience is woven with an empowering, fierce feminine thread throughout —supporting women-owned businesses and celebrating women of influence in every destination, whether she’s a hotelier, chef, artisan, conservationist, or a village woman defying the odds on a local or global stage.

In addition to being WAT's Adventuress-in-Chief and curating and leading women-driven trips, I am also a Luxury Travel Advisor under my other travel brand, Lofty Traveler™. At Lofty Traveler™, we don’t just plan trips — we meticulously design extraordinary journeys, curated with vision, precision, and passion for all.
Because no two journeys — or travelers — are ever the same, each itinerary — whether a women’s or wellness retreats, a solo sojourn, a golf getaway, a multi-generational celebration or an executive retreat — is a specific reflection of the traveler or group themselves.

WAT'S ADVENTURESS IN CHIEF
Before launching Lofty Traveler™ and Women’s Adventure Travels™ LLC, I spent 15 years as a luxury travel and lifestyle writer, contributing to 100+ media outlets, including Forbes, Robb Report, Architectural Digest, Vogue, and more. My assignments took me to 70+ countries across all seven continents, connecting with top tastemakers and prestigious travel and lifestyle brands. Those experiences and global relationships are assets I now share with my clients in the luxury travel space.
Alongside my editorial career, I launched The Lofty Style Lounge, a high-profile LA event company. I curated large-scale (300+) events for A-list celebrities, stylists, studio executives, media, and top-tier influencers. The Lounge became a launchpad for international brands—many of which went on to major licensing and celebrity collaborations. Prior, I spent a decade touring internationally as a stand-up comedian. In tandem with my touring, I created Body Comedy, a nonprofit using humor to heal. Body Comedy was backed by Comedy Central, Sony, and Nike.
As a playwright and actor, I became the first Tennessee Williams Fellow, opening the then-new Tennessee Williams Center at Sewanee with my play I’m Not the Blonde You Think I Am. All of my entrepreneurial experiences—across entertainment, media, travel, and events—have given me a 360-degree view of business, storytelling, and brand-building. Through LOFT Consulting, I collaborate with CEOs, celebrities, tastemakers, influencers, and leading hospitality brands on content & strategy, branding, events, press trips and FAM trips, speech writing, and media coaching.
Today, I weave the many threads of my past into Lofty Traveler™ and Women’s Adventure Travels™ LLC. I bring the same creativity, customization, and meticulous execution to all of my travel planning and events. Whether curating a once-in-a-lifetime journey or orchestrating a high-touch corporate retreat, my goal remains the same: to deliver elevated, seamless, and unforgettable experiences— rooted in passion, purpose, and a touch of Lofty magic.

WHERE WE WERE
Far from jumping on a feminine trend, I have long worked with and for women, as an award-winning feminist playwright, as an international comedian, and with my nonprofit Body Comedy, where I used humor to heal in my work with women, survivors of violence. I wove the many threads of my past to create my company, Women's Adventure Travels.
WHERE WE ARE
When COVID hit many people approached me at WAT asking if I could curate and create similar trips for them, their families, friends and businesses. That is when I launched my other brand, Lofty Traveler. My private custom travel took off immediately and has been busy since.
WHERE WE ARE HEADED
Moving forward, I will continue to curate private, custom travel for all of our clients, be it, individuals or groups. (Look for the site launch of Lofty Traveler™ in 2026).
WAT's original Far-Flung Adventures will kick back up in 2027. (Updates on this site). If you see one of our trips you like, we can curate a similar trip for you or as your Travel Advisor I can also guide you and book you on other women's trips, as well as with tour operators, etc.
Additionally, in 2026, we will be doing a series of Trips on Ships with inspired speakers, leaders and cultural icons onboard. Stay tuned!
